“a tiger doesn’t lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.” – Shahir Zag
Think about it. Like really think about it.
A tiger knows who it is + so it doesn’t need to listen to the opinion of sheep.
Both are created with different characteristics + purposes.
For the tiger to think about what a sheep says, it would only forfeit it’s place, power, + authority that it was given.
For you to lose sleep over what others think of you, it only forfeits your value, power, + authority that you’ve been created with.
Once you know who you are, you don’t need to think about the opinion of ‘the group.’
Once you know who you are, you don’t even listen to the voices that try to tell you something else.
And it kind of reminds me of what Israel Houghton recently tweeted:
“Haters are like crickets. Crickets make a lot of noise, you hear it but you can’t see them, then right when you walk by them, they’re quiet.” – Israel Houghton
Know who you are. Lift your head up high. Smile + nod at the “sheep”. And just keep walking…
