Yesterday marked the beginning of a new month, + more significantly, the second half of 2012.
I don’t know what the first half of your year held – favour, pain, joy, testing, trials, paving new paths, renewed vision for life, flourishing friendships, increased strength – but it was used to prepare you for what’s to come.
As we enter this new season, new month, new week, + new day, be happy that the fire refined us, the rain made our boots muddy, + the sunshine gave us a little colour.
Each season we go through is a good one because it molds + shapes us in ways we’re yet to discover.
Hold onto hope.
Let go of the old.
Embrace the new in all its fullness.
And remember to smile with each step you take.
If you don’t like where you’re going, change it. All you have to do is start stepping in that direction…
